| RAV4 EV needs more refinement | Toyota's RAV4 EV has an excellent pedigree due to its Tesla Motors-sourced driveline, but it feels like a rush job, as if Toyota was scrambling to get it built and out the factory door. I like the way it drives and its range is topped only by the Tesla Model S in the current electric-vehicle market. The cabin tech interface, accessible on a new 8-inch touch screen, is kind of cool, as are the Entune electric-vehicle features. But the biggest hit against this car is its lack of a fast-charging option. With the navigation system, it felt like Toyota added on a few EV-specific features without really integrating them.
