iFixit Announces a New Look

Forward icon

We’re celebrating our 10th anniversary!

With the help of our community of repair experts, iFixit has taught millions and millions of people how to fix things—and we’re just getting started. To celebrate the milestone, we’re going back to our roots.

We’ve adopted a new logo inspired by the Phillips screwdriver. There's no tool that has made repair as easy as the stalwart, reliable Phillips. It’s a symbol of openness and freedom. Our new logo reflects our ongoing mission to make repair possible for everyone, everywhere. With that in mind, we’ve redesigned iFixit.com. It's now easier to use and more accessible than ever before.

On the same note, we are happy to announce that iFixit's interface is now available in more languages. We are in beta for French, Spanish, and German. (We’re using machine translation for our repair manuals for now, but next year we’ll be launching a community-wide effort to translate all our manuals.) We have also updated our iOS and Android apps to add video support.

Repair is mobile and it is global. Fixing things makes people’s lives better in significant ways, and we’re excited to support the efforts of even more fixers around the world.

And, since no celebration is complete until someone breaks out a rotary tool, everything in the iFixit store is 10% off today! Code: 10YEARS

It’s been an incredible ten years. We can’t wait for the next ten.

Happy fixing,
iFixit
