In honor of the most American of holidays, we're taking a look back at some of the best American cars to grace the Car Tech garage. Ford steps up to the plate with a high-tech hybrid and a hot hatch. Under the Chrysler banner, there's a new Italian immigrant and one of the most iconic American nameplates. And GM does what GM does best: brings the muscle. Of course, the Big Three are there in full force, but our list also gets shaken up by a disruptive little brand that wants to change everything about how we think of cars: Tesla.
